I began teaching during graduate school, and spent most of my career in that field. I've taught everything from freshman composition to graduate-level intellectual history, In 1996, I was Culver-Stockton College's recipient of the Governor's Award for Excellence in Teaching, and in 2003 Culver-Stockton awarded me the Helsabeck Prize for Teaching Excellence.
I'm retired now, but I've been enjoying doing short-term workshops and mentorships. I also have been judging contests and providing guidance to writers' groups.
If you'd like to talk to me about leading a workshop or other kinds of teaching, let me know!
